I am close to finishing up my naked bike conversion, and one of the last things is to trouble shoot and deal with the ABS lights.

I have both lights flashing and did research how to reset, and read the codes etc, but I was hoping somebody could actually show me what this LED test light looks like, and describe how exactly it's made and how you use it to read the code.

FYI, the ABS does seem to work. I cannot lock the rear wheel (haven't tried the front). We also did a reset, but probably try it again to make sure, but looks like I will need to proceed with a code reader.

BTW, I also have the tail light all signal lights replaced with LED, and we have already addressed the hyper flash as well as shorting the wires to bypass the light bulb check relay. The battery is also brand new.

Below are the locations I found that are relevant to this, as well as a number of youtube videos.
Thanks in advance,

This link has the error codes and more info to figure out what's wrong.

I actually found a cheap code reader reset tool, but as usual it's in Europe (UK), but I rather make one since it's quicker and cheaper.

Thanks. I saw this one, but it's way more complicated than what I wanted. I was just hoping to do the LED and resistor method.

A 2.5 volt LED and a 470 ohm resistor in series and one end in the middle connector for the ABS and the other to earth (if it doesn't work reverse it).
To read the pulses you turn the ignition on and read the number of times the light goes off.

I guess I need more info. Looks like this is not so easy to find when one knows nothing about electronics.
Can you guys be more specific with these parts?

Thx again.

Asked a guy at work.
This is what he interpreted from Ricks message.
A bit blurry but think even I could understand this one.

Need practical advice for ABS code reader and trouble shoot 20150510

Yes thanks. I get how they work. It's the parts that are confusing. I think I'm just going down to Frys and see if I can find what I need.
