So this bloke brings his K100RS in to the workshop complaining that he has to wheelie to get anywhere and can we work out why?

After a while the apprentice says to the service manager that he can't find any reason why. The service manager vows to put his best man on the job.

Konstant wheelies Imag1018

Perhaps a sharp-eyed forum member might shed some light on the issue.

scratch

Here's another angle. I'll be f*ck*d if I can work it out.

Konstant wheelies Imag1019

Perhaps we'll have to ring up BMW Motorrad to see if they still have the books on this model.

Well, it's an 88 Special Edition. So that might help.

Also the may want to put a front end on.

Left hand screwdriver made me laugh. Went into a pen shop here one time asking for a left hand pen. Reaction was of the young one behind the counter was hilarious.

Or try a left hand scissors, or a left hand knife.......

There are actually left handed scissors. Made my left handed mother's sewing much easier.

The bike came in with hard-as-a-rock-and-old-as-dirt tyre(s) and after a chat he agreed that Pirelli Sport Demon in 110/80-18 & 140/80-17 sizes would suit him. He's gunna get a lot of extra mileage out of the front tyre!

Truth be told, the forks only needed a quick flush and refill and steering head bearings fitted, too. The bike is in pretty good nick for its age and mileage and has only a few cracks in the fairing and seat. I've always admired this RS blue and white (first with ABS!) colour scheme.

Looks like a Cross Country Ski.  Maybe he needs something a bit fatter for road use.

I am left handed and do have left hand fountain pens. Knives are always biased for right handed people, so you need to take a sharpener to them and reverse them.
