I'm in the process of rebuilding my fuel system, so should my injectors be a lost cause,  I'll do a bit of recon as to what the best injector is for the money. Here in canada, BMW wants like a grand for a set of four, so that's a no go. Rock Auto has the fj27's for a nice price but I noticed in that in their crappy photo, the pintle looks considerably shorter. If people have been using these with no ill effects, power/efficiency loss, I'd love to hear reviews.

Thanks gang

Josh

There's been quite a bit of discussion on injectors which you can find by using the forum/google search on the Forum tab.
The Standard OEM 0280150210 for the K100 is no longer in production and according to Bosch here in OZ they are only holding stock in Germany.
The standard K100 injector is an EV1 type with a single hole pintle valve. Some owners have decided to try a newer 4 hole injector which should atomise the fuel better but getting one with the correct flow rates is a problem. In the end there probably isn't much difference anyway.
As for the Delphi FJ27... as far as I can make out it's equivalent to a Bosch OEM 0280150710 which has similar flow rates to the ###210

Also, injectors last for a very long time. If they are looked after you should get around 3 to 400,000 km from a set. Usually all they need is a good clean under pressure and a new kit and they're as good as new.
