Hello everyone!

Noticed that my sidestand seems to really lean the bike over at quite a steep angle! any ideas of how much is too much, the stands themselves seem to be ok, no play or anything. any suggestions?

You mean to say you HAVEN'T got a 2" thick lump of wood in your tool kit!!!!!!!!!!

your rs is wearing High heels? It would look better with pantyhose too.

I asked the same question from the same bunch of brick loonies and got the same bunch of answer. just kidding people. Ajays machining skill are to be admired, however.

The serious answer is that you should look at removing the side stand, closing the "foked" pivot point a bit and tightening the pivot bolt.

If that does not help, as it din't in my case, I have a nylon puck (1" thick) in my jacket pocket and use it when the lean angle gets alarming.

I plan a combination of Ned's suggestion and Ajays. Basically shim out the pivot to remove play. It only requires about 0.5 mm and add some sort extended foot.
I was going to try some Sellys two part metal adhesive that can supposedly be machined into screws etc once hardened.

Wow, bike does look sexier with the heels tho! needs fishnets too! I'll try the fix on the stand, and head to the high heels if that doesn't work. thanks all! cheers B

Mine is Ali held with two allen screws.
Just one point, it needs to be cleared aways as you can see to clear the centre stand otherwise you can't use the prop stand if its up when the centre stand is used.

I have a big load spreader puck for sandy conditions with a super magnet to hold it onto the side-stand till it is retracted, once it is up I pull it off and pop it into my pocket.
