Finally I got around to checking the fan to see why it spins at the quarter of the speed it should.
It turns out that the PO patched the fan by somehow gluing the bushes in place ... lots of putty like material holding things together.
Anyway, I have another fan which I serviced, lubricated and is ready to go in.
My question is: What is the best way to get to the top bolt which holds the radiator and the fan bush in place? Do I atack it from the front or the back of the radiator after I remove the spongy hot air deflector?
It all looks cramped and hard to get to with the fairing in place, but I am sure that that I it is easier than I imagine.
