Hey all, just found the forum after trading a bike for my first K100. Its an 85 RS with 66k on it and I'm lovin it so far. Has a corbin seat and supertrapp muffler, and runs about perfect.  Fixing little things so far, and looking to get some good info here about taller bars and maintenance upkeep, etc, and hopefully I can contribute some info eventually as well.  Thanks already to those I found opinions from while researching the bike pre-purchase.

Thanks guys! Kaptain, my 66k is miles, so not all that low, but the engine looks it. Arizona bike from what i'm told so almost no rust through out bike Very Happy   And, brickrider, I had to look up what the heck a "johnny blanket" was,,,,,,,,,thanks a lot, now I have to make a trip into town to the home depot!!  Only about 2 months of summer left here, but its never cold in winter so ill leave the "blanket" in year round likely! Now where do I trade in my heated grips for chilled ones?!
