I have checked the resistances:

1/4 low voltage: 3.3Ω, high voltage: no reading (multimeter stays on 1)
2/3  low voltage: 2.9Ω, high voltage" 12.43kΩ

2/3 coil has orange high tension receptors (newish); 1/4 black (old)

Since the thing runs on 1 & 4 (hot exhaust pipes) and not on 2&3 (cold exhaust pipes), the readings appear reversed (they are not).  This really baffles me.  Would appreciate all suggestions.

The acid test is the coil with hot exhausts is working, the coil with cold exhausts is not. Unless you have a problem with the power into 2/3 coil or the earthing. Simplest solution is swap them around. If 1/4 are then cold exhausts just replace the coil.

Running on a coil that is O/C in the secondary is not at all uncommon but the coil is on the way out and wont last much longer and wont perform well at all.
As for not firing on an apparent good coil did you check if there is a connection with the core and making it earth out.

Curious how the simplest often evades us.
Thanks

btw, I also use the 75C fairing and also have chrome covers.  Where did you get your turbo?

I found the turbo K75 in Southern California last year. The turbo was made and installed by Luftmeister back in 1988.
