Looking for a good source in the US for an alloy fairing/tank/seat. Velocity stacks? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.

Best bet is to post up the model year and VIN number. Tanks changed in 85, affects wiring also.

They already have a set of very effective velocity stacks and the tank is aluminium. I don't know of anybody that has ever made an alloy fairing and the lightest seat base is the plastic base from later K100s.
If you are thinking of removing the air box and plenum chamber don't because it wont run unless it has the air flow meter in the top of the box above the filter.  It is very difficult to get rid of the bulky stuff above the injection throttle bodies.

Here you are, Rick.....aluminium is close enough, I'll guess.

Inge- that's fantastic. Do you know who made the fairing?

I would say it is hand beaten and a very nice job too, a real craftsman to do that.
I also like the exhaust up there out of the way.

That is one of the few cafe conversions that I do like. Usually they look like a greyhound that has been shaved.

Reminds me of the beautiful alloy work on the racing NSU's, particularly the front fairing.

Paul.
