Anyone ever fitted crash bungs to a K? I saw some pics in a mag recently of a modified K100 and it had bungs fitted to the front frame/engine mounts. Looked good I thought.....??

without the crash bars makes it hard to find a location ,,,that also wont be damaged from the fall event ...thinking the bolts on the crankcase and tappet cover (yes wrong terminology ) but the cam covers maybe ?  
something of a bracket from sump to frame with the pucs attached there, might be the thing ?

Something like the stuff knee sliders are made of but shaped to the forward shape of our left and right cases would be nice, perhaps even attached by drilling and tapping the case bolts or is that cover bolts
