Last Sunday, I had a nice ride on the Nova Scotia south shore and posted few pictures on my facebook page.
Charlie posted the following comment: good to see Bert!
Then I realized that other than my K bikes, very few pictures of me were ever posted. I am mostly known by my avatar.
Here are few pictures to correct it.

Looking at the picture, I realized how much the windshield of the sidecar is bending with the wind pressure. The top is normally straight but on the picture it bows in.(Speed was about 120km/h)

The country looks a little greener than when I visited -  long may your riding season last.

Easy!

When I got the sidecar I asked Penny to at least sit in to see how comfortable it is
Her answer: "No I am not interested!"
I then told her that I have only 2 choices: Get a dog or a mistress....
Without thinking she replied "I don't want another dog"
Guess what... no alternative!
The lady is just a very funny girl riding her own bike.

After almost 30 years of marriage, Penny should know me better.
I took a break on riding for more than ten years. Two month after I had to put my best buddy down (14 YO black lab), I told my wife that I wanted to get another puppy.
Her answer: "No, I want to be able to come home on Friday night and be able to go on week ends without worrying about finding a doggy sitter."
(Interestingly, at the time I was looking at buying a convertible car).
I then told Penny: "a 2 seaters would be good?"
Thinking that I was looking at a convertible car she replied "I guess so"
My answer: "Thanks honey, I will find a motorcycle"
And this is how 5 days later I got the K75.

In the last 2 months, I clocked over 7K on "small" daily rides. I am waiting for my antique plates to get the other k100 and the k75 on the road.

Today I went to another ride just to get lunch (about 250kms). Sunday I was with the beauties, today I was with the uglies

Can you just imagine how far I will ride to get a Guinness on tap?
Maybe not to Ireland but almost.
