Hi All,
I have recently become the proud owner of a 1983 K100 after having wanted a k series bike for many years. I was loaned one for a week about 10 years ago when my Yammie did a tail shaft (in horrendous peak hour traffic, on Christmas Eve, on the way home from work) and loved the ride.
I finally found an original bike (only 45,000K) at a price I could afford, and (much to my wife's horror) picked it up yesterday after being bikeless for nearly two years.
The original paint work is fairly ordinary, but she runs and rides beautifully! I have a few minor issues to sort out (gear selection indicator, clock, leaking brake master cylinder, windscreen etc.) but have already started to work out what needs to be done and how to do it, which is what led me to your forum.
I look forward to talking to you all.
