I'm going to stick in some castrol magnates 10w-40 a3/b3. What do you use. ?????

Mine thrives on Halfords 10W40 in the blue containers, also Elf 10W40 which I get from my Peugeot dealer at a very good price.

Mine has done almost 300,000km now and is still running strong. I am not too fussy about what brand of oil and let's face it it's a car motor in a bike frame. 20/50 or 10/40...the main thing is to change it often. Often. Gearbox and final drive oil too. And the splines..do the splines.

Good topic,, my k has 106 000 on it, owned for 16 years. would use maybe 100mls between oil changes using the cheapest oil from the bikeshop. last oil change I bought $66 oil (silkolene). after riding to the Karua rally (780ks) it used about 600 ml, did not take the ubeaut oil, as for a round trip of 1500ks it has never used oil before. so used a gulf western car oil to get home. it used no oil on the way home, Super cheap had a half price special on some good car oil, so now it is back to normal,not using oil.

Coolio. Used the helmet principle and went for the most expensive. It's £45 for 4 ltrs. Ill see how it goes.
