In my work it helps to be able to remember long sequences of part numbers. BMW's part numbers are easy because they break it down so you know, basically, where the part is located on the bike or what its function is, as you know. Once you've got that down then the last seven digits are the actual part number, of the original eleven numbers. The young guys are amazed when I drag an obscure part number out of my head for a part on an old bike. But if you look up a part number enough, sell it once in a while and then reorder it then you tend to remember them. The goog is getting filled up, though, and it's nearly time for a break.RicK G wrote:Yeah but sometimes I can't remember the ryco bit
