Hello!
Just bought a new flip up screen for my naked k100;
http://www.flowrideruk.co.uk/product/bmw-k75c-flip-up-tall-screen/
I'm pretty pleased with the screen and went for a light grey instead of the stock (almost) black/brown that was on the bike. There's a good chance there will be some hiding going on in the rain and it'd be nice to be able to see through it...
The mounting holes on the screen don't match the body perfectly. I'd rather not drill the body out to get things re-alligned in case I (or someone else) decides to go back to stock. So that rules out something like these:
Unless I put the bolt heads on the inside... but that would look odd even by my standards.
So I could do with an M5 bolt with a larger head that will cover the larger holes I will have to drill in the screen. Preferably with some vibration cushioning and while I could get creative with my crappy lathe, preferably off the shelf....
any thoughts? I think I can do better than gutter bolts and tap washers!
