Waz, I was wondering what I would do in early November; sounds like something I'd like to join you on. MotoGP in mid October and maybe the Smithy run in November as well.

Smithy if you read this post can you chime in on possible dates for a run around your region if it is on again this year?

I'd better get busy and get a few little jobs done on the other toys in the shed to give them a run as I've been concentrating on the K75 for the Scrapheap Adventure in recent times.

Cheers

Did the Snowy ride a few years ago. Stayed at the Station, about 6Km S of Jindabyne. Great lodging, inc a pub with meals. Saturday loop ride to Cooma and then Snowy Mts Hwy, back to J. Next day to Dalgetty etc. It was ill-advised to do the Alpine Way, through Thredbo and onto Khancoban and then Cabramurra, Kiandra and back to J because of all the crazies who tend to go beserk. I think there were two people wiped out on that weekend. The police seemed to turn a bit of a blind eye to proceedings. The presentation on Sat afternoon/night at Thredbo involved about 3½ thousand motorcycles! It was a bit of an adventure, but I won't do it again...not my cup of lager.
