Having removed the fairing, quite a few other things also disappeared.
First, I needed a headlight mount- luckily I already had a steel fencepole, and cut off a piece.
I then made a 40 mm split in the angle in both ends, cut off the vertical part and bent up the horizontal part - thus I also had a mount for the signals. By a square bit of thinner metal I could fix the horns to the same 6mm bolts that went into the part connecting the forks.
Many years ago I learnt the hard way the benefits of being seen, so I put two yellow 3W LED lights on each side of the headlight. Those i fastened to the windscreen.
Finally I cut four holes through the back of the top-box, behind the red reflecting glass, and put in four 1,5W led-lights; two connected to the tail-lights, andt two to the braking-lights.
