Hello All

Where is the best place to buy brake pads in Australia?
Is it best to get them posted in from the UK?
What is the best brand ?

I used to use the ICER pads from Motobins-UK when I had two piston callipers. They currently cost £8.75 (AU$14.93) without shipping costs, though the Royal Mail is about as expensive as one can get. Their part number is 22400, assuming you have an 8V K with two piston Brembos.  I suggest placing your bike's year/model info in your signature line for easier answer-making.

Another pad I like is 'Dunlopad' but they'll set you back about $45 per calliper at finer bike shops anywhere in OZ.

I like the Dulopads.  They bite well, are not hard on disks (like the metal pads) and dont make the wheels black with brake dust.

I've been installing metalgear pads, primarily cos they are local. (Brendale)

You can get em off ebay or via their website or pickup although for some reason buying via ebay is a few dollar cheaper than the website. Just put new rears on an R1100RT and they cost $24.95 delivered via ebay or $28.90 delivered via the website or $19.95 pickup for organic pads.
