Hi all.

I have had my K for about 6 months, bought as a work hack. It is very well built, seriously smooth and feels so solid on the road. Had a few issues, as you would expect for a previously non-runner with over 100,000 on the clock.

Sorted running out, misaligned throttle switch and bodies out of balance.

Enjoyment wise, I still prefer my 1983 Honda CX650ED but boy does the K do the job for trundling up and down the M27 for work.

Did I say it was the baby one? It's a K75, please don't drum me out!

Dave,

Dave,

Welcome to the forum.

Why should we drum you out? We are civilized people and respect everybody's opinion. Even if you had a Russian motorcycle, we wouldn't do that.
I personally own a K75 and a K100 and cannot tell which one is better.
The K75 is certainly the smoothest of the both, but it doesn't have the torque of the K100.

Bert

Hi Dave,
Really glad to have you aboard and well done for rescuing another K75 from oblivion of the scrap heap. There are a lot of tips in the answers to date many of which will seriously improve reliability and safety (like headlight relays)
Regards,
K-BIKE
