Just bought my first K100, 1987 RS with supposedly only 19,000km on the clock.
Not sure how you tell for sure but certainly looks like it. Don't know how to tell for sure.
Was imported from Japan a few years ago which makes sense. Older bikes with very low k's the norm over there.
Cosmetically is spot on...grips and pedal rubbers low wear, speedo dial all lines up.
Anyhow, she purs like a kitten. Was a bit shocked the first ride. Went to change up
to the next gear at 80kmh and then realised I was in 5th gear! Seems to get a bit rumbly
at 80kph / 3000 rpm but then smoothes right out. Is that pretty much standard for this bike? Open it up at 100kph and she just takes off.
