Hi have started radiator flush and system, got out the old stuff(looked like screen wash no smell no taste)
and in the haynes manual it says it should take 3.25 l on change howerever didnt take that waited for ages for air to move, ran her a bit let air out etc,but only took 2.8 l altogether, now i havent touched refilled the expansion chamber but while checking in manual struck me it was the right level for a K 75,wondered if anyone knew if theres a marking on radiator to check if its 100 or 75 spec. Also if its 75 would there be any risk?doesnt seem like there has been a problem comparing what everyone says everything works okay, fan comes on etc, mainly in city centre when stuck in traffic,no overheating etc.
thanks
pete
Ps drain plug was removed by old fashioned way blunt screwdriver and a hammer!when refilling with coolant im using gasket sealer so threads cant get damaged or corroded like original.
