I have a problem with my K100 bike.

While driving in warm day the bike shuts down the fuel pump (it looks like). It does approx after 200-250km. The bike wont start again. It turns with the starter, but the fuel pump does not react. I have tried to make a bridge on the relay to turn on the pump, but the pump does not react.
I must wait a few hours and the bike starts up normal.

New Hall sensor, new fuel pump (the old was loud), new relay, new fuses, all contacts cleaned.

There are some things that i have observer:
When i turn on the ignition key, the fuel pump is not pumping the pressure before start. (It seems like the old K bikes doesnt do this kind of pressure pumping before start. I have seen it on some K100 startup videos).

When i take out the hall sensor, the pump pumps shortly, but when the problem appears, there is no reaction of the pump on taking out the hall sensor.

It looks like a sidestand switch problem, but i dont notice any sidestand switch no my bike and cant see any sidestand switch for my bike on realoem and ebay.. I have seened sidestand switches only on RS bikes..

Hello, once i had that problem because fuel filter. Did you change fuel filter in tank? Yes, pump in old K starts when you hit the start button. Check the flow direction of fuel filter. As I remember arrow on filter should in driving direction.

The fuel pump should start when you push the start button, not when you turn the key which is for later models.
When you push the start button the pump will run for 1.5 seconds and then will stop if the ECU is not getting a signal from the Hall sensors. Which is if the engine is not turning or running.
Check the connector that comes from the tank to the main wiring harness, it is behind the right side cover, this is a very common place to have a fault. I replaced that plug on my K1100 because of trouble.
The hall sensors can give trouble when they get hot but usually it does not take as long as 200km but just untill the engine gets hot.

Thanks guys for the clues. I have cleaned the connector, but it can still make trouble.. i will replace it.
Now i can make only preventive actions, because is not always 200km.. Before my vacation have driven cca 1000km without any problem (split into two days). But it was not so warm weather.

This will be a "little thing" but hard to find..
