This is my first time on a forum but have been on bikes most of my life, although due to work commitments not enough in last 10 years. Starting to remedy that now at 61.
Live in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, Australia, and will look forward to meeting some members round here.
Got my 1995 K1100LT in 1997 to begin my BMW journey - still going great at 145,000km, followed by a 1987 R80G/S PD a couple of years later. A few months ago added a 1990 K75 because I already had a twin and a four - it needs some work but is progressing.

Cheers

Hi Gaz welcome to the forum.
We like to make new members very welcome and don't worry about not being familiar with forums as this one is very frendly and forgiving of your mistakes and mine still.
There are a heap of members around your area to hook up with for a ride, beer or chat.

Looking forward to seeing you at one of our meet-ups.

Welcome Gaz, that's a nice bunch of bikes you have. I wish I didn't sell my 80G/S PD also.

good to hear of another K in the Hunter,
sounds like you have plenty of work ahead of you Gaz, plenty of advice here to help you along .
the hunter guys have the occasional coffee meetups , and there are a few guys in your area as well.
keep in touch. there is always something on , if not, create your own thread and give us an invite, and we'll see.
cheers Ed.
take it easy Sean and Bella.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I may be heading up the New England Hwy from the Hunter to Toowoomba on 8 July so will put the message out  once finalised in case I can meet up with members who are on that route.

I took the car this trip. pissed down, I mean poured the whole way from Wallabadah.
Sadly, it was to a funeral....an old, old friend and fellow BMW rider. GS1200. Only 53.
