Testing again, this time the ride into the Araluen Valley. It's towing a trailer with camping gear too, so there's a reason it sounds like she's working.  First decent run with the new motor, no problems so far.

 Would have been in fifth till I started heading downhill with all the bends, you're probably right. It's bang on 118(by GPS) at 5000rpm with a 165/80-15 rear.

This week end I was at a rally, and was the only one not having a mutt in the chair.

Just google Bella + sidecar and you will see that she's very popular on the internet. I even saw people using her picture as an avatar on other forums.

Iron Mutt?

Chilli has been around the OZ mainland in a sidecar as a 6 month old pup as well as her other travels since. 

2 dogs before her I had a dog called Spike, he went to every state in OZ by bike inc Tasmania (by ferry), did something like 120+ rallies over his 16 years. We even hitched/flew home once after the legendary reliability of a BMW airhead disproved itself yet again.
