There was some seriously nice work done there. Just the front calliper treatment that I didn't particularly like but each to his own.

K1 tank cover?

Do you mean the shroud that sits around the rear and lower sides?

If so then the answer is sort of. You'd need the three mountings that fit on the tank (just self-adhesive) and you'd have to trip away a lot of the shroud where it meets the K1 knee pads as the thing fixes there to the K1 fairing mounts.

A better bet would be the low seat shroud.

K75 Spruce up GS%20009-L

Again you'd have to trim a lot away and in both cases the seat is a lift-off not hinged affair, I imagine that there'd be issues getting the seat to close. The K1 seat is a lot lower than the standard one and a bit lower even than the low seat K100/K75 option.

The workmanship & patience is amazing!!!!! Shocked
Great photo presentation.
I would have a few questions if you care to answer.
#1 What was the total amount of money you had to spend to complete this project?
#2 How long did it take you from start to finish (weeks, months?)
#3 How many miles did you end up putting on that little jitney cart you used to roll this thing in & out of your wife's kitchen for various work stages??? LOL
More seriously......you have to stop smoking those stogies....so you'll live long enough to ride your money out of this beautiful project.
