Hi,
My name is David. I acquired a 1986 K75 a few months ago. I have had it out on a few relatively short rides, just to get used to it, and am thoroughly enjoying it. My previous ride was a 1986 Moto Guzzi Cal2 - a very differently configured bike, I must say that it took a little getting used to having the power band at higher revs and not having that low end torque and locomotive power of the Guzzi. Once I got over that issue I just love the (sprightliness) of the k75. It seems like such a playful machine and so much fun. There are some issues I need to iron out yet - the speedo not working , nor the fuel light. This combination requires me to carry a spare gas can in one of the bags. I have been working on the speedo - had it out twice and cleaned up the pins, but still no luck. My other ride is a 1976 Yamaha 400 Enduro. A completely different ride and much fun also. I am looking forward to the warmer, drier weather. Very happy to have found this great forum.
