Does anyone know if they will fit my 1989 LT ?

If they are both 8v engines then yes but the set could be a police which are wider and have a position for things like lights or siren etc.

Just be aware that the early models crashbars isn't rubber mounted at the oil pan............if I remember correctly .

You do remember correctly. The plate mounts straight to the sump.

For that price I'd consider switching over to the police version too!

Note: Right side bracket mounts directly to the sump as does the left side. However, the left side safety bars attach to the bracket via rubber studs, which are hard to come by. Don't know why the right side doesn't have vibration insulating rubber too.

Am currently repairing a left-hand safety bar in a separate thread, you may wish to follow.

Ok cool. Thanks guys for the advices.

I will be modifying them to fit and sourcing the rubbers etc( for the price I paid it will still work out cheap as chips - retail $565.00. . . ouch!)
