latest update of road closures as we head into more flood events

it was just a month ago we experienced some heavy rain ......its back !!! and on the rise ..



with New South Wales coping a hiding last weekend ..seems there is more to come

Yeah, Charlie, reports from loved ones back home are that it's more than just threatening, but a deluge, and although not as hard coming down as the last round it's steady. A good (week?) day for ducks. Watch out for swollen rivers and water over the road.

Drizzle and rising to 8c here today. It's been famously sung that moss grows fat on a rolling stone, but in Seattle in grows on the footpaths and the sides of cars, houses and trees.

I'm taking the bike down to Tamworth today...basically because I can't stand not riding for more than a few days at a time...but I know I'll have to dodge potholes and tunnels in the direction of China after all the trucks have destroyed the road. Still...better than driving.

Little to no rain out my way. Pity we can't be more even with our weather.

first weekend in a long while that it has been kinda favourable to get out on the road

heading towards "Mount Lindsay " on the way south after avoiding a big storm front ...now out of sight and to the west



...;past the big tor ...and heading down to the valleys below ...(some will remember the stop off before woodenbong on our last locals ride ...which is nearby



autumn is here lads ...time to get out and about again

Ah jeesus. Glad I am missing all the wet weather in Queensland. Back home on Friday.

A couple of days ago I had rain, wind, sunshine, more rain and wind, sleet and snow over a few hours in northern Arizona. Went inside for half an hour and returned to half an inch of snow on the rental. Looking forward to the warm weather again.
