Does anyone know where I can get a left side lower front fairing, the part with the three air scoops for an 84 k100 RS. I think mine is beyond repair after falling off its stand onto concrete

I think I can give you some real incentive to fix the busted one Bill. I had a quick search around of the places I know and there was one on fleabay in US for $350.
Try the BM Shop in Brisbane and the other one that I dont go to much is kbikeparts.com that Frankenduck from Motobricks. It is a time consuming job searching his list but he may have one.

Maybe only UK listings where the seller is willing to post to U.S are listed on ebay.com....
It does seem pointless to list them in U.S if they won't post them there.

We only see items on ebay.co.uk from U.S or Oz or even rest of Europe if the seller is willing to post to UK

Saw it myself Charlie and was tempted - but I don't need a fairing so as much as it hurts I had to pass LOL

Shipping overseas is expensive, but the real deal breaker for most of us is getting paid, or paying, in a foreign currency. I have tried ordering things for my G/S from Boxxerparts and Seibenrock with no luck so far. They won't accept payment on a US credit card.

paypal works ok too ... for those that use it with any frequency

So I had a go at fibreglassing and it wasn't too bad
Now painting, will post a picture when it's finished

Good luck with the repairs.I'm half way through the same job myself.Ground out the cracks,glassed the back,epoxy filled the front and fine coat of blade putty.Looking good so far and nervously getting ready to paint.Have taken photos so hopefully we can show off our repairs to everyone!

I would love that fairing and have relatives in the UK but the postage is astronomical!!!!! have to find someone who is willing to carry a full fairing on the jet to OZ.....how we going to jam that lot into the overhead lockers??

I imagine I would have more pieces by the time it got here.....oh well looks like I am going to make mine a naked K100 over Christmas break and do some glassing...I heard the BMW fairings have ground marble in the resin for strength???
