Hi to all , I jotted down an intro the other night but haven't yet seen it on the forum . I'm assuming it has been lost in cyberspace somewhere , so I will give it another go.
I was introduced to Ks by my father in law ( k75s, K1100RS)in 2002 by way of purchasing my 87 ex police RT, which became my 24/7 daily ride , followed by the acquisition of a second K in 2008 being an 89 LT. Having ridden both on long distance and short local jaunts there is a difference , but both with their merits.I am enjoying the pics views and antics ( plenty of laughs) of other forum users and look forward to contributing where possible. My projects include bmw R26 with 1948 Tilbrook sidecar, 87 K100 RT , 89 K100 LT with 1976? DJP single sidecar, both sidecars have been purchased with the intention of use as Hearses with an open platform roller deck. I have been involved in the funeral industry since I was 19 ( about 1989). My original intro mentioned my hope to use the callsign "Crazy Frog " as he is stuck to my helmet since 08', but with respect to Admin, I am looking for something else . I am currently using my wifes . Be kind guys .... thanks again, for a great website.

Hi mate and welcome.
I tried to find your intro last night but couldn't. Ended up deciding that I'd had too much to drink, which was strange as I wasn't drinking. Glad to see you have a chair or two!
Sean.

Thanks , had a local sidecar specialist around home tonight, he looked everything over and in his view suggested i start again with a new purchase of outfit, this is not an option for me $$$$$$ and I am passionate for the classics.

Welcome VLsuzuki you have some real afficiaonados of the K machine on your doorstep which will be a great source of fun and inspiration to you. Interesting to hear you say you found differences between the LT and RT (or am I reading the post correctly). I'd be interested to hear more.

A couple of tips on using the forum...stick your bike year, model and frame # in your signature, this helps forum members tune their answers on teccie issues. Stick us up a pic or two, we like them - See how to sticky in the general forum.

Onya!

thanks for the welcome, my admiration for the k is by means of a humble budget and daily rides with good scenery ( a mixture of surf and country). Will get some photos up soon, need to borrow my daughters camera, my phone doesn't have one.
