Hi everyone,

I have just purchased a 1984 K100RS and looking to clean it up a bit.

I will be on from time to time asking lots of questions about restoring/repairing the bike.

This is my first attempt at restoring a bike, I am a novice and would like to learn more and after reading some of the posts on this forum I think this is the place for me.

Cheers

kgirl Very Happy

Hello Kgirl and welcome!
You'll find this to be essentially the best resource you can get for K bike information and assistance.

Greetings Kgirl welcome to the forum. There is lots of friendly help and good advice here with plenty to read about others restorations.
Don't forget to add yours to the list as you progress, we just love to see the old Ks being bought back to life instead of being used for donor bikes.

My can of DeoxIt is in the mail. Welcome to the club Kgirl! I replaced the harness in mine
and now it seams that every time I open the speedo something else stops working. (Hence
the DeoxIt!).

Welcome from the Northern hemisphere. Plenty of K bike guru's in your land. It's useful to put the model, year and frame no. of your bike in your signature as it helps other forum members when answering tech questions. Stick up a pic of your machine as soon as you can, we like those ( see sticky in general forum on uploading pics).
