Hi all,

I'm currently a college student studying at Capital University in Columbus, OH.
I just bought my first bike yesterday. As a student with no money, it probably wasn't my best economic decision, but it was too hard to pass up Very Happy

It is a naked '85 K100rt with 40k miles

My dad is BMW fanatic but hasn't had a k-bike before so i'm sure there are some questions i'll have to come to this forum for!

-Josh

Welcome Josh
try and keep the old dude away from riding your bike. I'm an old dude and would love to have one of my kid's bikes to thrash.
Enjoy the experience and relax.

Welcome Josh.

I was smiling because my son went away to Budapest for a few months and left his bike with me...a Bros 400. Fair enough but he just got his licence unrestricted in July and about two weeks ago was trying out a Fireblade......free storage could come at a price.

I met someone in the summer who has a collection of bikes and went on holidays. When he came home he noticed one had been moved.......a few days later one of his neighbours remarked on how nice it was to see himself and his son soing wheelies together down the road....he now has a key safe.

If your dad discovers the way a K bike goes light at the front end after you go through 4,000rpm you will need to buy him one as a thank you...

Welcome to the College of all things "K" (and a bit more besides) Josh!

You've bought a real low miler there which is great. It also means it's done a bit of sitting around, which isn't! Not a problem though, with a good work over....Check this thread out.

Good to have you along.
