I'm rebuilding a 86 K100RS and have two questions regarding the brake assembly.

At the front brake when you push the brake piston back into the master cylinder body is it just held in place by the circlip or is there another seal or washer between the piston body and the circlip?

I got the bike in pieces with parts missing, on the rear brake I have the Foot peg plate the rear brake lever and the Rear master cylinder.
I can not find a picture of how it all goes together and what part connect from the brake lever to the master cylinder.
My bike is a 86 model ( made 10/85) and has the old plunger style brake switch.

If any one has a picture that would help me a lot.

Hi Marten
Right where the arrow points there is a small plunger that screws into the pedal and goes back into the M/C to push the piston. There is a rubber boot to cover the M/C.
Brakes ?? 510

Thank you again Rick..

I have all the parts now for the rear brake and also have figured out how they assembly.
Only question I have is where does the tension spring mount to?
I have it attached to the brake lever with that little bracket but where does the other end goes to?

Of the 2 bolts that hold the master cylinder on there is a sleeve on the front one that protrudes and the half round end of the spring hooks around that sleeve.

That is what I meant but what I put is a bit ambiguous now I look again. Forgive me I am still recovering from a hard weekend with the gang.
