Hello All,

I've purchased my first motorcycle -- a '91 K100 RS. I am new to the biking world -- but since my purchase on August 9th I've ridden 1000 kms. I think I am a convert. I am a car guy at heart -- I participate in both autox, and in HPDE events in any of my three cars -- a 90 Miata, a 98 M3, or an 07 Elise. I've been an HPDE driving instructor for three years.

I'm already thinking about what it would be like to ride the bike on a track . . .

Welcome Smile

Now if you asked me I would have advised against bikes of any kind. I do so with all my friends and they just don't listen.

Bikes are addictive and like with all addiction you are never over it. Most people I know, me included, are on the bike or in between rides for ever. I know, I've been at it since I was in high school SmileSmile

But, they are a great fun. I can only advise u not to start a collection ... I have 3 and many here have more Smile

Lastly, my solution to almost all problems. Fuel pressure, what time is it and where the hell am I? Smile

New to bikes and to Beemers but not Bimmers DSC04569

Welcome! Just got a '91 K100RS myself. I also found myself contemplating how much you could lay it down on the track ......funny how a BMW will do that to you.

Far enough that you can wear the stands and put a hole in the muffler.
