My 91RS 16v has a painted gearbox and swingarm and the paint is heavily peppered with chips that take the good look off the bike. Can anyone recommend the best way to sort this out?

Hi Steve. On the black casings on my '79 LT, I used a Hammerite satin black aerosol with plenty of masking off.
Gave a reasonable and durable finish.

Electric-monk, hello, I repainted my engine block with black spray heat proof paint, and the gear box and swing arm with silver Hammerite (or a cheaper ripoff brand). Luckily I had my swingarm off at the time.
So far both have lasted pretty well (about 10,000 klm worth of crook roads).
