Anyone fit USB outlets on their bike? Thinking of setting up a charging station in one of the glove boxes.

I use an adapter on mine and it works fine.
If they work in a car they will work on a bike except if they get wet.

You can make one easy. There is an IC called an 7805 which has 3 legs. 12v in/Ground/5v out, supplies 1 amp costs $1.50. USB sockets are $3 each. Find a local jaycar for help. Not sure how long a standard usb socket will last in the rain, would be better under cover (in the tail).
