The fuel pump on my K 100 LT was gone - so after hearing that the one on
some Opel cars (in the UK sold as Vauxhall) is practically identical, I
went looking to the spare parts shops. And really - I bought the pump
used on some Opel, BMW and Mercedes cars. The lower part is a bit
different, but it fits, and pressure slightly higher, 3 instead of 2,5
Bar.

Now it only remains to find the spare vibrations damper (old
one's rubber practically disintegrated, what most probably caused
pump's failure - it sucked in pieces of rubber). Anyone has one that he doesn't need?

Tarik, I deleted your other (identical) post. This will stop people answering both of them.

The fuel pressure regulator on the bike would lower the pressure to 2,5 Bar.
The genuine pump is capable to lot more than the working pressure.
If you had been running on 3,0 Bar pressure, your mixture would have become to rich.

No problem, I just thought the topic is interesting enough to post it at two places.

Thanks for the tip. I had a look at http://www.motorworks.co.uk/ too, because they sell 2nd hand parts as well and not only new ones. Must call them today, to see if the pump is available

Hi ffbikersa,
I don't know if they will ship worldwide or if this is the correct pump for your model, but at £63 it seems a good price.
