While getting into the winter maintenance projects, I came across this breather tube coming out of the timing chain cover. Should it be plugged as I found it, unplugged or routed somewhere? Thanks for any info.

It needs to be plugged, it used to be the fuel tank vent. Was kind of a bad idea I guess. You do need to check that your tank vent hose is hooked to the tank or you have the cup in place. Hope that helps
