I think with the 'bike the way it is just now I am at the place of 'leave well enough alone'! I ride it daily and it does everything I expected and wanted it to with the injection/exhaust/brakes/wheels/tyres & ergo mods I've made. My time's been taken up with other projects both at work and at home.

Here's one thing at work I'm nearly finished with...it was a ground-up teardown and rebuild. A 1985 Monolever Airhead R80 that was definitely not looked after by the previous owner. Now it's a lean machine. There's stacks of eye candy for the discerning but note the bike is shod with Sport Demons.



Yep, motorbikes are a great therapy, a cathartic for frazzled nerves and boredom with the daily nose grind most of us are subjected to.

Reminds me of a fella from the town I grew up in whose nickname became boomerang, coz he kept emigrating and coming home again. Overtime it got shortened to boom. Then one day, in the punk era it got lengthened again to "Boom, the town rat", which stuck

He went to guest ,by choice i reckon , but nobody was fooled , he may have retracted but was never out of our thoughts , who could forget the round OZ report ? The techno precision of his mods to the basic brick ? My green (jealous) side whishes he stayed " out of it" but even
