Love to get an idea of the inner look before dis-assembly. If you know of any pages / posts where another member has included pics for working on the switches let me know.

Post 13 here ComberJohn's Ghost shows the inside of the R/H switch. The killswitch releases with an e-clip; once that's out the killswitch support unclips to allow access to the green and black/green wires in the trough. The l/h side isn't so complex.

The main trick is to take out every screw in sight before trying to dismantle either switch. All bar two are the same length and it's quite obvious where the short ones should go.

In German but very good illustrations of r/h switch disassembly and reassembly. L/H switch will be similar but less complicated.
