ComberJohn's Ghost shows the inside of the R/H switch. The killswitch releases with an e-clip; once that's out the killswitch support unclips to allow access to the green and black/green wires in the trough. The l/h side isn't so complex.
The main trick is to take out every screw in sight before trying to dismantle either switch. All bar two are the same length and it's quite obvious where the short ones should go.
