Hi all,
I guess this is a very belated introduction, as I've made over 250 posts to the site since registering in 2009. I live in the centre north of the city, in North York. I've own a BMW K100RT that began life as a K100RS, then got transformed into some hybrid between K100RS-2V and K100RS-4V, then got transformed into a K100RT and then transformed again into a K100LT. I've had the beast for 13 years now and transported it back to Canada from Europe where I had originally purchased it.
I have owned only one other bike in my life. That was a Kawasaki KZ650. I fitted a Hannigans fairing to that beast and really enjoyed riding it. When I moved to Europe, I was planning to return in 2 years but my residency dragged on and I sold the bike (got nothing for it unfortunately).
I don't ride as much now as before mainly because of the family commitments.
I've made my share of contributions in the form of tutorials back to this site. I think Bert has done a wonderful job of getting this site going and it takes a great deal of devotion to maintain it. Well done!! Well, that's it for now.
P.S. I did this intro so late mainly so I can access the download page but it's a good idea to have an entry in this section of the site.
