Hello and good morgen to all,
As a noob to k100 i have made some small errors in the dealing with this bike, i think underestimating its complexity was the first. It stands to reason (now) that the injectors need to know what temperature the water is.
anyway to make a short story long. i was cleaning the left side switch and dropped the wee brass plunger / guide that lives inside the horn button.
does anyone have one of these from a dodgy switch they might like to part with, the indicator cancel button has the same (exactly i think , though didn't get the chance to hold them up side by side) setup .
since then , as the horn button stay on , i have pulled the actives to the horn - and insulated them, as when they touch the frame/forks they blow the fuse and no indicators. so when the horn relay stays energised , the alternator must be taken out of the loop because now the bike drains its battery ,
I have used this as an opportunity to replace it with an agm , but wont ride it distance until i sort out the horn.
Thanks for reading and thanks for the forum,
Nathan
