Hello everyone!
I'm Eric, a 27 year old avid motorcyclist.  Been riding on road since 16 and off-road long before that.  I have been riding my 85 K100RS for 9 years now.  Just got a new 06 Daytona 955i.  I also have a project 68 R90/6

My brick is on the chopping block at the moment so to speak.  I have big plans for it!

Welcome to the forum.

A K100 for the last 9 years is good going so not too much we can tell you about them. But it was a young age to fall in love with the K. Becky over in England has a K100LT for a few years and at 22 she has already put over 40,000 miles on it so lots of stories to exchange if you get chatting.

Good luck with the Daytona......but the K looks very good, I suppose a good climate.

Do keep us posted on the K.

Thanks!  I have to say though I've been fairly lucky on my K.  Half my luck is that it didn't break down too often.  Half is that I have a good friend who is a bike mechanic.  Half is that she (my K) has been loved dearly.

The K is actually in the process of a naked / café conversion.  I hate to do it but my thoughts are as follows:  She is in excellent mechanical / running condition.  She's just becoming a bit old and creaky.  I dropped her on the left years ago backing down a gravel hill ( Mad )  and a buddy of mine dropped her on the right the next summer.  The fiberglass needs too much minor work in multiple places.  The front forks need a rebuild as they are quite squishy.  Essentially, I have a great motor and chassis (after a K1100 front end).  I will reincarnate my brick into something that will be exciting to ride as well as look at!  I will post a progress thread at some point.
