Does anybody have an idea what this hole could be on the handle bar panel next to the hazard lights switch. It looks similar to a stereo jack point????? Any help would be great, Thanks.

wonder if it is exactly that...... for helmet head phones .....doesnt look like anything ex factory ...

are there any wires leaving the bottom of the hole? If it is quarter inch and there are two it might have been for sound. But it might have been someone's attempt to put some wire through, which they later decided was a bad idea, or that when they sold it they took it out (like a GPS or something)

My RT has exactly the same thing except it still has what looks like a lens in the hole. The lens is very crazed and there are no wires coming out of the back.

I have had the thing apart and there are no wires going into the bottom, however it may have at some stage. I guessed that it was either the stereo plug or as FreebasserSF mentioned it could have been for a 12v connector (GPS or similar).

Pjjms, my rt also had the lens thing, he wasn't cracked was clear as , I had to pull it out to make sure I wasny being watched :suspect: , nothing in it no wires, I reckon there used to be an indicator of some sort and when it failed they removed it but did,t want to leave a hole?
