Hi, is there anybody who can tell me where it is shown how the throttle and clutch cables are to be routed under the tank of a K100RT - 1984? Thanks, Rene.

I had a big problem with it when I re-assembled my K100.
At the end, I routed the cables without attaching them to the clutch or FI rail, and found the position where they could move freely (many tries).
They are going between the instrument cluster and the dash (where the ignition key is) and then go under the plastic cover on side of the steering column.

Too bad that I didn't take pictures.

Should I take some pics and send them to you? Mine is a K100LT '90 european version. You might see it next year on the M&G at your premissis.

Frank, graag, yes please, thanks!

Phil has sent me some, but you can never have enough I guess. We can put them somewhere on the sites, as the manuals don't give any information on the bowden cables (to my knowledge).

For all, we are trying to organise a M&G (Meet and Greet) at/around my location in Scotland next year with members of a Dutch forum. Looking forward to it!

Thanks all!

Hope this will serve you well.

The last photograph shows the bowden cable of the clutch not being held by the tie rip. It should be held by tie rip to the frame.

By the way I found a problem that occured as I had been working on the front wheel. Since I had disassembled and assembled it the choke light lit every time I turned the steer left and right. A broken tie rip cause it (8th photopraph); the choke cable (bowden) had to much play.
