Hi everyone!

My name is Ted, and I live in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

I recently bought a running, albeit a bit ratty 1986 K100RS, and am in the process of converting it into a scrambler-type setup.

I look forward to engaging on this forum, and learning a lot about these incredible machines!

really do not see the point , a k100 would make for a very poor scrambler but please prove me wrong by entering some events . i look forwards to the results .

WelKome to the forum, Ted. You'll find there are many members who share your idea for modification of your bike. There's even a custom/café section for posts specific to such things. You'll also find a measure of folk who believe the bike should be as it left the factory, or at least not have knobblies and no mudguards and clip-on 'bars. But it's your bike to do with as you please. You are welkome here.
