Greetings all, just making my introduction post.  I'm from Texas, in the Dallas area and I'm trying to get an 85 K100RT going after it's been sitting for many years.  It's been an exercise in frustration but I've made progress and can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I see the potential of this cool little bike.  Looking forward to perusing this forum and getting to know it

I can't help you with the tech stuff, but it is good you are making progress, please let us know your issues.
I've got an 85 K100 standard with a sidecar. Great bike.
I am few miles south of you, SW of San Antonio.
Mike

Hey Bubba, Welcome! I have an 85rs, Love it. The most annoying things I have found has been the little stuff. Grounds, lubrication, Stuff that deteriorates. Had mine going on 2years and she still hits me with something new at every turn. That being said she is still one of my all time favorites. Good luck with the refurb!
