Don't know very much about 3 wheelers, but for some reason I believe that magnificent looking engine is a JAP?
I remember Grinnels coming out, mainly because they used a K engine and drivetrain. First time I saw one was not long after getting off the ferry for the TT. I remember it because we had just arrived on our home built Essex engined trike and, I guess, we were out to see if we could actually survive a hairy lap (we had built it specifically to take to the TT after a bet with a mate who never paid up) The two guys in the Grinnel were doing the same, but they pulled in after a bit. They were both laughing. We were laughing as well, but that sort of laugh you do when it's great gobs of fear being ejected from your body.
