As you may be aware, today was Tesla's first release of a dozen or so Cybertrucks. The owners turned up and were given the 'keys' while Elon rambled on awkwardly (on the spectrum, ya' think?) about the pros and cons, but mostly the cons, while thumping electronic music played in the background. I must say, it's quite a visual statement. 

It got me to thinking - a dangerous thing in some instances - about the initial inspiration of the design. I could only conclude that it must have been while having a satisfying emptying. Something like this.

Varying opinions welcomed.

All it needs now is is a couple of solar panels on the roof and to send one out for a three month trial in outback Australia on someones property with all that unlimited free sunshine.  

I doubt it would last a week.  Unless of course one of our dark skinned proud nation builders steal it first.  

Oh, and it needs a decent towbar.

I think the towing hook on that thing is on the front.

Got to like Musk though, spectrum n'all. Dunno about the Bond villain thing mind, I'd have him as a household pet.

Is he trying to sell it to the US Army? It's got all the right shapes to bounce the pellets off if someone takes a punt at it with  a shotgun.

(Which reminds me of the redneck who accused me of shooting him with a 12-bore. Must find a good excuse to tell that story someday).

try and tow with any tesla and it will burst into fames after about 20 miles , the electric car range etc do not like extra load like a caravan they over heat

In the video it looks like the Porsche on the trailer crossed the finish line before the Porsche in the other lane. 

Interesting, but I still won't buy one.
