1990 K 75 C owner, 59k miles, on a tight budget. Familiar with small to 4L engine repair. My bm-r is in need of a new timing chain, most likely. Maybe the lambda sensor, and then some. I'm interested in buddying up. Please contact me. Thanks.

Timing chain is usually never worn on these engines. You probably don't need to change it.
And, good new, you don't need to change the lambda sensor as K75 never had one.

Welcome!  As JBT advised, you don't need a timing chain or lambda sensor for your engine.  Most of these bikes at this stage need new rubber bits like the crankcase breather hose and the throttle body vacuum caps.  Another often replaced item is the coolant temperature sensor.

What is the problem you are having with your bike?

Where is River Forest?
