Hi from Brooklyn K100 forum. I've been riding a 1990 K75C for about a year now, painted a lovely deep purple from the previous owner. Has about 89k miles on it at this point (roughly 1000 of them me) but has been running great (except for a shorted relay and a snapped selector rod.) This is my first bike and while I'm fairly handy, I'm pretty mechanically green with cars and bikes. It's been fun to learn but a complete pain to work on your bike out on the street - goes with the territory. 

The other day my biked ended up slouched against a neighboring car when I popped it off the center stand and wasn't paying attention to the grade of the street. Luckily no damage or marks on the car, but unfortunately my right handlebar control ended up rotated back towards me about 30 degrees. I thought it would be a situation where I could loosen a clamp to the handlebar and rotate it back, but it seems like I have to remove the throttle grip and then the controls instead? Will give that another try in the next couple of days and then make a dedicated post if I can't figure it out.

Anyway, hi to you all, and if anyone else is NYC based would be down for a ride! Once the handlebar gets sorted at least.

First, remove the screw holding the switch assembly and remove the switch assembly by lifting it upward slightly then outward.
Second, just loosen the screw holding the throttle/master cylinder assembly, rotate the assembly into the desired position, tighten the screw and replace the switch.

Third, in the future, post repair and troubleshooting questions into the correct forum category so they will be seen by members uninterested in member introductions.

Dont' he-man that bolt when you tighten it back up. It can break causing you to need to replace it which is a PITA.

Just to close the loop on this: The throttle / mastery cylinder assembly had just rotated back wayyy farther than normal (like 90°). I had to seriously muscle it back, partly using the rear view mirror as a lever, but once it was mostly there it was able to adjust within 15° or so as normal. 

I suppose the banjo bolt beneath the master cylinder got loose in the process so also had to tighten that, fill up on brake fluid and get the air bubbles out. Once that was taken care of, I took it for a successful ride around the block and noticed a screw in the rear tire once I parked  nyc never fails to impress. 

Getting patched today, will likely get a new tire this season to be safe. Thanks for the help all!
